Sri Sri Ravi Shankar signs MoU with North Miami Mayor for Haiti, Florida, April 27
North Miami Mayor, Andre D. Pierre, Esq. and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Haitian Trauma relief.
They agreed to focus on promoting the physical, mental and emotional well-being of the Haitian Diaspora by providing programs to combat trauma, as well as encourage healing and empowerment. The International Association for Human Values (IAHV), the sister organization of the Art of Living has been engaged in providing trauma relief in Haiti since 2007. Presently it is working in both Haiti and South Florida, providing stress and trauma relief post earthquake.
Sri Sri was in town to address a 900-strong gathering at the Westin Diplomat Resort in Hollywood.
